Through the work of the CPMS Design Committee, six new permanent benches were installed along Edgewater Drive in April 2019 to replace old and worn benches.
The cost of the benches was just under $9,000 and was funded by College Park Main Street along with the Mayor’s Matching Grant Program. Commissioner Robert Stuart also contributed money for the project. The City of Orlando covered the cost of installation.
The six benches can be found on Edgewater Drive between Rugby Street and Yale Street.
Adopt-a-Bench
College Park Main Street is coordinating a program to offer personalized plaques on each bench to allow College Park residents to memorialize a loved one or honor a birthday, anniversary, or special person. For more information, please contact director@collegeparkmainstreet.com
