Seating Info
The Holiday on the Drive Christmas Parade is an event that we hope will be enjoyed by the whole community for generations. It will be important to keep sidewalks clear for individuals with wheelchairs, walkers and scooters. We also expect many families with LOTS of children so let’s work together to ensure everyone has a good seat for the parade!
- College Park Main Street asks that no chairs be placed on the parade route until the day of the parade and no earlier than the street closure begins. We understand you will want a good vantage point to watch the parade; however, placing chairs out too early can cause major hazards, especially for those who use wheelchairs or walkers. Any chairs placed prior to street closure will risk being removed.
- Please do not block sidewalks, entrances or ADA ramps at any time! Any chairs or blankets that are totally blocking sidewalks, in the way of crosswalks or hindering the use of disabled parking spaces will be moved out of the way.
- Please be respectful and do not place excessive amounts of chairs along the route to save space for others who have not yet arrived.
College Park Main Street is in no way responsible for chairs removed and cannot promise return. In addition, College Park Main Street is not responsible for any lost, misplaced or stolen chairs.
