“The Fluttering Heart” was created by artist Tony Philippou in 2017.
According to Philippou, “there were a few different sources of inspiration for the mural. First and most important are the residents in the College Park Community because they are the ones who have to see it everyday. My desire was to create an image that embodied strength, health and beauty. Living in Central Florida I take great pride and honor in being able to connect with my city. I have friends and family in Orlando and I want everyone to be able to enjoy it for many years to come.”
